The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time, Physician- Compensation and Pension. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring Americas Veterans.

Highlights / Duties of this opportunity :

• Potential starting salary range : $200,000-$235,000 per year
• Permanent full-time position
• Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 7 : 30a.m.-4 : 00p.m. or Monday-Friday 8 : 00a.m.-4 : 30p.m.
• Performs and records history and physical examinations and records data from clinic visits.
• Enters progress notes in computerized medical records and completes workload documentation in a timely manner.
• Provides timely follow-up on results, including completion of view alerts.
• Completes Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ) to provide medical information for C&P disability examinations, as requested by VBA, in support of disability claims adjudication.
• Completes C&P disability examinations, following established process / procedure as outlined in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) office of Disability and Medical Assessment (DMA) Compensation and Pension (C&P) Disability examinations Procedure Manual.
