Asset Manager I - Special Servicing

About The Job (Job Brief) : Responsible for the management and disposition of an assigned portfolio, which may contain performing or non-performing loans and REO, in an effort to maximize the goals and objectives for the portfolio.

Essential Job Functions :

• Develop and implement an approved asset management strategy for assigned portfolio, including business plans and case preparation within portfolio assigned timeframes.
• Correspondence and negotiations with borrowers, guarantors and / or their representatives.
• Completion of various internal and external reports for portfolio management. As necessary, maintain the portfolio records and files, including the system of record.
• Monitor the performance of third-party vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist in the preparation of financial analysis for various management and disposition strategies.
• Travel as required. Meet with the borrowers, guarantors, property managers, brokers, attorneys and site inspectors, etc.
• Review asset files of the portfolio as necessary to obtain pertinent asset information.
