Director Of Nursing Quality

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a Director of Nursing Quality for our Nursing Administration Department. The Director is responsible for supporting the department of Nursing's quality and safety programs. Provides quality improvement facilitation and supports the nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams undertaking improvement initiatives. Responsible for assisting with assessment of the learning needs of nursing staff as they pertain to quality and performance improvement. Participates in the monitoring of regulatory compliances, identifies opportunities for improvement, and assists patient care units with the development and implementation of improvement strategies. Actively participates in occurrence reviews, complaint investigations, RCAs, and assists in facilitation of corrective action plans in collaboration with nursing leadership. Assists with benchmarking activities with the National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI). Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in acute setting. Proficient in EBP and research, project management and change management. Working knowledge of quality improvement methodologies. Excellent communication, writing, computer and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail.

Education and Qualification Requirements :

• NYS RN License
• BSN Required Masters Preferred

Salary : $125,000-$130,000
