Volt is immediately hiring for a Bookkeeper in Moreno Valley, CA .

As a Bookkeeper you will :

Job Description :

• Day to Day Responsibilities :
• Monitor multiple bank accounts daily.
• Prepare daily budget and cash flow reports.
• Create, approve, and release checks.
• Project future funding needs and review cash requirements.
• Supervise daily deposit preparation and submission.
• Oversee monthly bank reconciliations.
• Track and replenish petty cash balances weekly.
• Process weekly payroll including paychecks, payroll taxes, and reports.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
• Serve as plan administrator for employee benefit programs (401K, Section 125 / Cafeteria Plan).
• Track employee advances and apply payroll deductions accordingly.
• Process wage garnishments and remit payments to appropriate agencies.
• Open, review, and distribute incoming mail daily.
• Take appropriate action on all incoming correspondence.
• Reconcile all general ledger accounts for three entities on a continuous basis.
• Prepare monthly and annual journal entries.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements independently.
• Prepare reports and schedules required by the CPA for annual tax filings.
• Oversee monthly fuel and mileage reporting.
• Prepare quarterly fuel and mileage tax filings.
• Ensure timely submission of all required financial, tax, and operational reports.
• Monitor insurance policy billing, statements, and payments.
• Track renewal dates and maintain organized records.
• Coordinate with the Safety Department for loss control and renewal processes.
• Assist insurance auditors as needed.
• Prepare financial documentation for legal consultations and litigation matters.

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity 5 days a week 8 hours a day, plus overtime.

Pay Rate : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
