We’re currently looking for a Full-Time Nanny in Durham, NC (27703)

A lovely family near Holder Hill Farm in Durham is seeking a Nanny for their son, who will be 6 months old.

Care will begin January 5th, 2026, for a minimum of 6 months, ideally with a trial period in December. Care will be needed Monday through Friday from 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, with the potential for some evenings to extend to 5 : 00pm.

The ideal candidate would be creative and engaging, with infant experience.

Schedule :

Monday - Friday : 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm

Start date :

January 5th, 2026

Trial early December (plus! Not required)

Length of position :

Minimum 6 months

Rate :

$20-25 per hour

Responsibilities

All aspects of care and monitoring for one infant, including :

Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestones

Bottle preparation | Light meal and snack preparation

Maintain child's schedules and routines as set by parents

Communicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may arise

Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as baby's dishes, bottles, laundry, and organizing toys

Walking outside of the home with potential driving needs in the future

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States

2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience

Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater

CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified

Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and driver's insurance

Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check

Must be comfortable with family’s friendly dog

Compensation + Benefits

This position pays $20 - 25 per hour, and the family is looking for full time care.

Paid Holidays that fall on scheduled work days
