RN Hospital / Emergency Department Nights

Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Availability of shifts include full-time and part-time night shift. Nurses in these roles will be able to self-schedule and must be able and willing to travel to surrounding Mercy facilities within 90 miles from their home address. Facilities available include : Springfield Joplin Carthage Aurora Cassville Mountain View Lebanon Mercy Ortho Hospital (Ozark, MO) Currently, the only units available in this role is the Emergency Department (Nights) . Qualifications : Education : Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program. Licensure : Current RN licensure with State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice or current temporary work permit in the applicable state of practice. Experience : 3 years of RN experience in the Emergency Department within the past 12 months.
