Echodyne is seeking a Sr RF Design Manager to join our fast-growing team.

The Sr RF Design Manager will lead Echodyne's RF and microwave engineering team, responsible for the design, development, and sustainment of advanced RF subsystems that enable next-generation radar platforms. This role requires a strong technical foundation in RF circuit design combined with the ability to mentor, direct, and empower a high-performing engineering team. The manager will drive technical excellence, ensure alignment with company product and program objectives, and foster collaboration across systems, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and operations teams.

The manager will provide and guide technical expertise in RF circuit design, simulation, analysis, and design for X to guide design execution, verification planning, and risk mitigation. Additionally, they will define and architect production test strategies and supporting prior to transition to manufacturing. Throughout the product lifecycle, they will lead root-cause investigations, trade studies, and continuous improvement initiatives to sustain and enhance product performance.

Reporting directly to the Director of Electrical & RF Engineering, the manager will balance direct technical contributions with leadership responsibilities, acting as both a technical authority and a people leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the technical authority for RF and microwave subsystems, guiding architecture, design tradeoffs, and risk mitigation strategies

Manage and grow a multidisciplinary team of RF engineers, fostering a culture of technical rigor, innovation, and continuous improvement

Act as a RF engineering interface with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams

The pay range for this position is $159,800 - $239,600 annually
