About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to handle the day-to-day management of multiple commercial properties located throughout Southern California. This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong property management and bookkeeping experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage daily operations for commercial properties in Orange County and the Inland Empire
Field tenant inquiries, vendor calls, and after-hour emergencies
Create scopes of work and RFPs for recurring and non-recurring vendor services
Arrange and coordinate property repairs and maintenance
Prepare monthly tenant billing statements and post rent / cash receipts in the accounting system (experience required)
Assist with annual budget preparation and monitor monthly variances
Maintain accurate lease files, rent rolls, and tenant records
Review invoices and expenses to ensure accuracy and budget compliance
Code operating invoices for data entry
Collect rent and perform routine site inspections
Direct general contractors and oversee tenant improvements
Coordinate major repairs and ensure timely completion
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of commercial property management experience (required)
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience or educational equivalent (required)
Strong understanding of accrual accounting and journal entries (required)
Proficiency in Sage or similar property management / accounting software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Property Management (preferred)
Must be able to take after-hour calls as needed
