Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing speech-language services in a K-12 educational setting, this role supports diverse student needs within an itinerant caseload model in Eunice, NM. The position is a school-year contract, offering approximately 37.5 hours per week serving one to two buildings. Caseloads typically range from 65 to 70 students across various ages and programs, with assistant support available when higher caseloads occur.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) compliant with district standards
- Utilize provided therapy spaces effectively to conduct both individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Participate in paid team meetings and indirect administrative hours
- Adapt to a caseload / workload model with flexibility for itinerant travel between assigned buildings
