Job Title : Integration Engineer
Location : Kent, WA 98032
Duration : 6 Months
Pay Range : $42.00- $44.00 / hr
- As part of a diverse and hardworking team of technicians, you will build launch vehicles, spacecraft and launch facility systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of and responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and supporting hardware testing that meets program requirements. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Additional responsibilities include :
Assembly of a variety of structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated component sub-assemblies for New Shepard, New Glenn, and Engine's components
Assembly of structural components to aerospace standardsWork with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback for ease of assembly, and support development testsReview, edit and follow work instructions for assembly tasksPlan and communicate assembly steps for complex mechanical installationsSafely work with hazardous systems, containing chemicals and / or high pressureAbility to work in a team environment with multiple and rapidly changing prioritiesExcellent problem-solving skillsQualifications :
Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
3-5+ years of experience in precision assemblyExperience drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly and fastener installationAbility to document and maintain accurate records, strict procedural compliance, as well as read drawings and printsAbility to use standard tools and basic fabrication equipmentExperience assembling and troubleshooting aerospace, military hardware, or other related fieldsDemonstrated ability to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipmentExperience using Microsoft Office SuiteWork Monday -Thursday, 10 hour shifts (5AM- 3 : 30PM) with potential for overtime requestsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Must be physically able to :
Climb ladders and stairs, and work in small, restricted areas

Experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration
5+ years' experience in aerospace or related fieldsA&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integrationFamiliarity with pressurized system safety for pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExperience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardwareExperience with 3D measurement tools and Spatial analyzer / Verisurf softwareWorking knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants, including hydrogen peroxide, RP, and cryogenicsKnowledge in the use of 3D CAD tools (CREO is preferred), and ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard
