About The Position

Job Title : Hybrid Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Cath Lab Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (06 : 30 - 19 : 00)

Experience : 1.5 years required

License : Must have state license in hand prior to start date.

Certifications : ACLS, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Dual role position requiring both Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab skills.
• Call required for Cath Lab and Hybrid OR, approximately 10 shifts per month.
• Weekend requirement of working every third weekend.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Description :

The candidate will be responsible for performing procedures in the Hybrid Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.

They will conduct diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, as well as endovascular interventions.

The position requires skills such as hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement / removal, and vascular closure systems.

The candidate will also be tasked with maintaining a sterile field and troubleshooting medical equipment.

Accurate monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.

The role includes working with specialized equipment and performing various cardiac and vascular procedures.

Candidates will need to manage and maintain equipment used in procedures.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills as well as the ability to float within the facility as needed.
