ICU RN Job Details Location : Wichita, KS 67220 (Kansas nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 23 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 7AM – 7PM, 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570 Employment Type : Travel Nursing (On-Site) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required TNCC or ATCN certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills ICU Nursing Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to trauma, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients Monitor and manage patients using advanced clinical equipment : balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, ECMO Assist with procedures including chest tube insertion, central line placement, and medication drips Maintain accurate documentation with Meditech EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Demonstrate efficiency, engagement, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced clinical environment Why Choose Wichita for Your Next Healthcare Job?
