Java Developer

Job Summary (Senior Java Developer) :

• 8-10 years of hands-on development experience
• Expertise in Java (Java 1.8), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Java back-end development
• Proficient in Microservices design, Maven, Tomcat Deployment, REST & SOAP web services
• Skilled in using JUnit / Mockito for testing
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, Git, React JS, Angular JS, JQuery, NodeJS
• Familiarity with databases (DB2 / SQL); able to integrate applications with DB
• Experience or knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, CI / CD pipelines (using Git runners), Urban Code, Linux
• Real-life experience with Continuous Delivery principles and related tools
• Ability to create and understand build / deployment pipelines
• Experience working in agile environments
• Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with team members and tech leads
• Capable of understanding business requirements and planning accordingly
• Perform unit and system testing, as well as threat and risk assessments
• Location : Onsite in Chicago, IL
• Duration : 6 months
