Shift Engineer I at Grand Geneva, you will maintain optimal hotel operations by promptly addressing guest and associate maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all building systems and equipment function efficiently.

What will you be doing?

• Foster excellent guest / associate rapport by promptly addressing requests.
• Perform daily shift reports including documenting all calls in the Engineer’s log, monitoring and closing out calls.
• Adhere to all OSHA standards and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all furniture, fixtures and equipment throughout the interior and exterior of the hotel and in guest rooms.
• Assist in cost control : Heat, Power, Light, Sewer and Water and provide recommendations for improved methods and procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair and or maintain the following :

o All building and FF&E

o HVAC; Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning, and Refrigeration equipment

o Electrical systems

o Mechanical equipment, i.e. motors, starters, pumps, fans, generators and chillers

o Plumbing and drains

o Pneumatic and electronic systems and controls
