This fast-paced department treats an average of 220 patients daily across 54 ER rooms. Ideal candidates are strong in triage, emergency response, and trauma management, with Epic charting proficiency. Key Responsibilities Triage and manage patients presenting with medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies Administer medications including IV vasopressors and sedation agents Perform central line care, blood product administration, and IV therapy Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and ventilated patients Provide emergency care for stroke, CVA, and orthopedic trauma cases Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, etc.) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Requirements Experience : Minimum 2 years current ER experience (1 year travel ER required) License : Active MD or Compact RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Charting : Epic (required) Other : Must complete 2-step PPD and current flu vaccination Unit Details Facility Type : Level II Trauma Center ER Beds : 54 Daily Census : ~220 patients Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 Patient Populations : Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics Additional Information First-Time Travelers : Not accepted (must have 1 year travel ER experience) Float : Within scope as needed Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holidays : May request one major holiday off (approval based on client discretion) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
