About us : Instrumentl

is a hypergrowth YC-backed startup with over 4,000 nonprofit clients, from local homeless shelters to larger organizations like the San Diego Zoo and the University of Alaska. We are building the future of fundraising automation, helping nonprofits to discover, track, and manage grants efficiently through our SaaS platform.

Our charts are dramatically up-and-to-the-right — we're cash flow positive and doubling year-over-year, with customers who love us (NPS is 65+ and Ellis PMF survey is 60+). Join us on this rocket ship to Mars!

About the role :

As an Events & Community Manager at Instrumentl, you'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing educational events and managing community engagement initiatives. Your primary goal will be to generate demand by creating meaningful virtual and in-person experiences and building a strong, enthusiastic community.

Instrumentl is a startup, so you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute across many areas of the company and help define the future of your role as an early member of the Growth team. You'll have significant ownership over the event calendar and the creative freedom to pitch new event formats and community-building approaches.

The Instrumentl team is fully distributed (though if you'd like to work from our Oakland office, we would love to see you there). For this position, we are looking for someone who has significant overlap with Pacific Time Zone working hours.

What you'll get to do :

What we're looking for :

you've planned and executed events ranging from intimate gatherings of 30 to large-scale conferences with 2,000+ attendees, and can juggle logistics, cross-functional coordination, and brand presence with ease.

Compensation and Benefits :
