Descripción del trabajo0630-1830, 1830-0630 self-scheduling, managed by manager based on unit needs 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period All over to the inpatient units, excluding Maternity / NICU Navy Blue 2 shifts of unit / department specific orientation Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions # of Beds : 18 Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 1-2 ICU, 1 : 4 PCU Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Adults and Peds > CVPs, IABP and Impella-core staff will take if no exp; Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time. Zoll-Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuse Yes RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable and / or set rate drips : Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics There is a Charge Nurse on each shift who does not take an assignment. There are nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit - Ratios? Duties : 1 : 18 RT Equipment : Nasal cannula to vents. RNs need to be able to read and interpret No Tele / Monitor Techs - Draeger heart monitoring with centralized telemetry monitoring. AUTO OFFER Fast paced unit with critically ill patients. Attributes that help a nurse be successful on this unit include critical thinking skills, personable, positive attitude, team player.
