Nuclear Risk Assessment Engineer

A company is looking for a Consulting Engineer specializing in Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) and Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct PRA modeling and analysis for various internal and external hazards

Support risk-informed applications and regulatory strategies impacting plant operations

Provide consulting expertise and deliver solutions to enhance safety and efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent PRA-related experience

Experience in the commercial nuclear industry

5+ years of PRA experience for mid-level consideration, 10+ for senior-level consideration

Familiarity with NRC risk-informed processes

Prior consulting or client-facing experience
