We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and possess excellent research and writing skills. This role involves assisting attorneys with case preparation, conducting legal research, and managing case files to ensure a smooth workflow within the law office.
ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys in the preparation of personal injury cases, including gathering evidence and documentation.Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines to ensure timely filings.Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.Prepare trial materials and assist attorneys during litigation proceedings.Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and relevant regulations.Collaborate with other legal professionals on various matters including estate planning, immigration law, family law, landlord-tenant law, environmental law, securities law, workers' compensation law, patent law, tribal law & regulations.RequirementsProven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law office environment.Strong knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes.Proficient in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Familiarity with various areas of law including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, patent law, and tribal regulations is highly desirable.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
