Charting System : EPIC EMR

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact state (Illinois RN jobs)

BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an acute care setting

Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care to critically ill adults in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers

Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital and healthcare regulations
