Biggby Coffee Virginia Beach is looking for some hardworking, fun people to become part of our Biggby Family! It is a fun fast pace environment!

Our hours of operation :

Monday - Saturday 6 am - 6 pm and Sundays 7 am - 6 pm.

Must be able to work all various shifts on all weekdays and weekends. Must be available to training during the mornings for at least a week. Must be able to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-pace coffee shop.

We are currently hiring for applicants with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, hardworker, care about the job they do, move with a sense of urgency to respect customers time along with open availability during the week and weekends. Are you a person that like to work in a fast paced environment, can multi task and loves to talk to people? This may be the job for you. Coffee experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize coffee experience to prepare and serve high-quality beverages to customers.
  • Operate POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold service standards.
  • Move and multi-task with a sense of urgency while providing customers with a consistent high quality beverage and / or food.

    • Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand for long times, Kneel and stoop
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • Must enjoy talking to people
  • Barista experience
  • Coffee experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Proficiency in cash handling
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous experience in a caf or food service environment
  • Familiarity with food preparation and handling
  • Sales experience is a plus
