Your Role

As a Construction Project Coordinator , you will provide support for project managers with a primary focus on coordinating and maintaining documentation, organization, and communication to achieve job start compliance with subcontractors and vendors.

  • Create / build new jobs in ProCore; pre-construction setup
  • Assist with construction estimating and budget preparation
  • Generate Subcontracts and Subcontractor Change Orders, including distribution and tracking
  • Assist in requesting and closing out Purchase Orders, data entry and accounting tasks
  • Assist with development of internal and external reports including project budgeting, cost reports, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports to all stakeholders
  • Assist field staff with inspections, revisions, utilities, and submit final documents for CO
  • Attend meetings in the office and in the field as required, take notes and prepare draft meeting minutes
  • Review submittals and assist with RFI s
  • Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients throughout the process
  • Administer project documentation and filing systems including close out documents
  • Assist with project turnover documentation, record keeping / retention, warranty administration and project closeout

    • What We're Looking For

  • Skilled in organizing project timelines, coordinating tasks, and assisting project managers in keeping projects on track
  • 5 years' commercial construction experience
  • Experienced in maintaining project documentation, permits, contracts, and progress reports for construction projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively liaising with team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Knowledgeable in tracking budgets, monitoring expenditures, and assisting in maintaining project schedules
  • Ensures all required permits and licenses are obtained and that the project complies with legal and regulatory standards
  • Proficient in project management software, Procore, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
