Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Logistics Facility

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Logistics Facility in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to security-related needs, and providing excellent customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate : $14.94 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location and its operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and exterior perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Report and document any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized individuals on the premises.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials of individuals accessing the location as required by site-specific policies.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site supervisors regarding incidents or security-related concerns.
  • Support emergency response procedures, including assisting with evacuations and / or coordinating with first responders when necessary.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
