A Snapshot of Your Day

The primary purpose of this position is to set up and operate, program manual and CNC horizontal milling machines, manual lathes, and CNC lathes performing detailed operations on a variety of parts and components. Use a range of tools, including milling cutters, boring bars and heads, saws, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and more. Your role will require a proven understanding of shop mathematics and the capacity to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables. You should also have experience with precision measuring instruments and / or specialized occupation training.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Using material handling devices to load / unload parts from machines or assist the crane operator. You will be setting up machines by installing tooling and adjusting machine settings, feeds, speeds, etc., according to job documentation and drawing specifications.

Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests or any other as required to perform the duties.
