Job Description / n

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU position requiring at least one year of ICU experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Position is in a hospital ICU unit

Day shifts are 12 hours, three days per week

Care provided to critically ill adult patients

Use of Epic EMR is required

May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency

Potential on-call requirements during scheduled shifts

Responsible for performing independent nursing and delegated medical functions in line with state Board of Nursing standards

Duties include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the ICU

May be expected to provide patient education, counseling, and coordination of care

Candidates must be able to document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines

Background check and drug screen must be completed at least two weeks before start

Scrub color or dress code requirements not specified

First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Active MT or compact RN license

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school required

Minimum of 1 year recent ICU RN experience

Current BLS certification from AHA required

Current ACLS certification from AHA required

All certifications must be valid through the start date

Epic EMR experience required
