About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required

Must-Have :

• EPIC experience required
• Experience in STEMI and Stroke facility preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience in trauma level I or II preferred
• Travel experience preferred

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room specialty.

The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts.

The role includes providing care for a diverse patient population encompassing all ages.

Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health.

The unit is equipped to manage a variety of patient cases, including trauma and emergency situations.

Candidates must have experience in blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias.

Nurses will be responsible for interpreting Arterial Blood Gases and dysrhythmias.

Procedural sedation administration is also part of the role.

The nurse will be expected to work weekends and be flexible with scheduling.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy and respiratory services.

All candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam prior to starting.

Nurses will be responsible for maintaining IVs and providing care for ventilated patients.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
