JOB SUMMARYThe On-Highway Truck Driver is a vital member of the Paving Division team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials—specifically hot-mix asphalt (HMA), road base, and millings—to and from active paving sites. The On-Highway Truck Driver operates heavy-duty commercial vehicles (such as tractor-trailers, live-floor trailers, or end dumps) in a fast-paced environment. this position works primarily on public roadways and active construction zones, requiring a high level of situational awareness and strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Beyond driving, the individual acts as a key collaborator with the paving crew, ensuring timely material delivery to keep the paving train moving and assisting with equipment transport and general site labor as needed.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESA member of the S&P 500 Index, Martin Marietta is an American-based company and a leading supplier of heavy building materials – including aggregates, cement, ready-mixed concrete and asphalt.
