RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - NICU

Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Must have previous traveler experience

Care for patients with diagnoses including RDS, hypoglycemia, prematurity, rule out sepsis, and TTN

Assist with special procedures including circumcisions, PICC line removal, lumbar punctures, and eye exams

Administer common medications including iron, vitamin infusions, caffeine, and antibiotics

Operate common equipment including ventilators, giraffe beds, feeding pumps, and IV pumps

Required skills include IV insertion, PICC / central line management, and A-line management

Required airway skills include CPAP / BiPAP and ventilator management

May be required to float based on census to MCH, postpartum, newborn nursery, or serve as a sitter for the house
