Job Title : Quality Inspector 3
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Summary
A senior level position making final inspection of a wide variety of parts of complicated form with very close tolerances, sub-assemblies and completed units. Plan inspection procedures and methods; make a variety of gauging set-ups, devise methods of checking unusual parts, determine allowable variations from standard. Make disposition of rejects. Trains and assists less experienced inspectors.
Assures products meet quality requirements by conducting receiving inspections, first article inspection; in-process inspection; evaluating finished product by performing the following duties.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must also possess a strong 3D mindset and have an eye for detail. Experience in using CMM. Able to program and operate a variety of automated and manual digital inspection tools to validate products per drawing and model.

Requirements
Education and / or Experience
This is a journey level position requiring an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; and a minimum of 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
