Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Salary : $18 / Hour Location : North East, MD Pay Rate : $20 / hour Contract Length : 8 weeks Start Date : ASAP Openings : + Full-Time (4 openings) : + 2 Weekend Lead : Fri 3 : 00pm10 : 15pm, Sat / Sun 7 : 00am10 : 15pm (36 hrs / week) + 1 Overnight : Sun 10 : 00pm8 : 30am, MonWed 11 : 15pm8 : 30am (36 hrs / week) + 1 FriSun : Hours TBD + PRN (23 openings) : Flexible shifts available Requirements : + Hands-on CNA experience and / or recent group home experience + Experience with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities (CCR is a DDA Provider) + Reliable transportation required + Ability to lift 50 lbs + CPR certification required + Willingness to complete DDA, MANDT & Choking Dysphagia training + EMR : iCareManager Responsibilities : + Support residents in daily living activities including bathing, feeding, medication administration (including G-tube), and housekeeping + Follow person-centered plans and assist with goal planning + Use Hoyer lifts and assist with mobility + Maintain professional appearance and hygiene standards Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits : + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs
