Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Dietetic Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Position : Registered Dietician Guaranteed Hours : 40 Location : Windsor, VT Gross Weekly : $2040 / weekly Breakdown : W2 (Taxable) : $16 / hr Per diem (Non-Taxable) : $1400 / weekly Shift Details : Shift Type : Days Hours / Week : 40 On Call : One night per week & one weekend per month Contract Duration : 13 weeks Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Job Description : POSITION EXPECTATIONS (Includes but is not limited to) : Evaluates, assesses, and plans nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs. Assesses patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards. Counsels patients and / or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develops plans of instruction and nutritional care, and monitoring results. Identifies inpatients at nutritional risk and documents recommendations. Diagnose and develop intervention for patients with malnutrition Participates in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications. Conducts education programs for patients, community groups, and staff. Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area. Develop therapeutic relationships with multiple subspecialty care team members and providers that enables planning and participating across a broader spectrum patient care. Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
