We are seeking Postdoctoral Fellows (PhD / PsyD) who want to specialize in psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Positions typically begin in the fall. (Mid-year applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.) Length of fellowship is flexible (usually between 1 and 2 years), depending on your training needs and the fit of the practice. Responsibilities : Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Fellows at Mind Matters are passionate about psychological and neuropsychological assessment and want to work 25-40 hours per week. Responsibilities include : Providing psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental assessments, including Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) to youth ages 5+ Ensuring that patients have proper resources by referring them to outside therapists, clinics, and other treatment facilities Attending school meetings and providing follow-up parent consultations to support prior clients Participating in twice-monthly in-house team meetings and case consultations Applicants must be available to test in person at least eight days per month on a regular schedule Interviews / feedback / report writing can be completed remotely, on a flexible schedule Additional day-to-day tasks will be discussed during the interview process Qualifications : Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical, School, or Educational Psychology or related field from an APA-Accredited Program Eligible to register as a Psychological Associate in the State of CA (with the intention of becoming a Licensed Psychologist) At least two years of experience (ideally at the pre- or postdoctoral internship level), providing psychoeducational, developmental, and / or neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and / or adults with developmental, learning, attention, social-cognitive, and emotional issues Knowledge of current assessment measures and practices, including consideration of cultural and familial factors Our ideal candidates also have experience working in or consulting to elementary, middle, and / or high schools Bilingual language skills are a plus Compensation : $62,000 - $94,000 yearly
