Data analyst (Mandarin speaking)

Salary : $80,000 - 120,000 per year

Requirements :

• We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications :
• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience in a Data Analyst role or similar analytical capacity.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Capability to analyze extensive datasets and extract valuable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Fluency in Chinese Mandarin is essential.

Responsibilities :

As a Data Analyst on our data and product operations team, you will :

1. Data Collection and Management :

Sustain and enhance data pipelines along with data tracking specifications.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Conduct data cleaning, validation, and transformation for thorough analysis.

2. Reporting and Visualization :

Develop dashboards and automated reports for product performance, game operations, and business KPIs.

Create clear visualizations to relay trends and insights effectively.

Monitor data quality and verify the accuracy of metric definitions.

3. Product and Business Insights :

Analyze player behavior, funnel metrics, retention performance, revenue impact, and operational patterns.

Offer insights to product managers to assist with feature iterations and prioritization.

Support the design, execution, and assessment of A / B testing.

4. Cross Team Collaboration :

Partner with product, engineering, game operations, and management teams.

Provide ad hoc analysis to leadership for informed decision-making.

Assist with preparing weekly and monthly business reviews.

5. Continuous Improvement :

Propose enhancements to data processes and metric frameworks.

Evaluate new analytical tools or data sources for potential integration.

Contribute to documentation and the internal data knowledge base.
