Circle Hospitality Group is launching a new Asian-inspired bakery in Koreatown, NYC. We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Baker to help execute daily production and ensure high-quality baked goods for our customers.
ResponsibilitiesExecute daily baking production following established recipes and standards.
Prepare and bake a variety of Asian-inspired breads, pastries, and desserts.
Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
Manage time effectively to execute baking rounds efficiently and meet daily production deadlines.
Assist with prep, portioning, and packaging baked goods.
Maintain clear communication with the Head Baker and culinary team to ensure consistency and smooth production flow.
Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with the Head Baker and culinary team to meet production goals, especially in high-volume production settings.
Minimum 2 years of professional bread baking experience required.
Previous professional baking or pastry experience preferred (1–2+ years).
Experience in high-volume production environments preferred.
Experience working with deck ovens preferred.
Familiarity or interest in Asian-style baking is a strong plus.
Strong time management skills with the ability to execute baking rounds efficiently.
Clear communication skills and a commitment to consistency and quality.
Open availability to work early mornings and/or weekends, including holidays as needed.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
$17/hour, with opportunities for growth within the bakery and the broader Circle Hospitality Group.
