Tamil English Legal Translator

A company is looking for a Tamil English - (Legal) Translator, Editor, and / or Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

Translate, edit, and / or transcribe legal documents and audio files from Tamil to English

Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology

Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for security clearance

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

2 to 3 years of experience in translation and / or editing between English and a foreign language

2 to 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency

Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and Tamil
