Located in Hoquiam, WA

Salary : $25-35 / HR. DOE

Overview :

Program, set up and operate CNC machines and machining centers to efficiently produce components that meet specific requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Production of repeat parts :

• Review the engineering drawing to verify that the set-up sheet and program apply to the current revision level.
• Set up and operate CNC machine centers in accordance with established Set Up Sheets on file for production parts.
• Verify that parts produced comply with specified requirements through first part inspection and routine production inspections as required.
• Where appropriate, offer suggestions for changes to established Set Up Sheets that will improve the quality of the parts or reduce the time required to produce them.

Where no Set Up Sheet exists (one-off and R & D parts) :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : AA degree in Machining Technology, or three years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
