Kentucky Licensed Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Coder, Billing, Days- Fully Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Apply and ensure the accuracy of Lab and Pathology ICD-10 and CPT codes based on documentation from CPA providers

Enter codes into medical systems and review coding issues related to denied claims

Collaborate with CPA Lab departments on coding inquiries and implement yearly coding changes from CMS

Required Qualifications

One year of coding experience in a healthcare setting

Certification as CCA, CCS, or CPC

Desired Qualifications

One year of coding experience in pathology and laboratory

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification as Certified Coding Associate, Certified Coding Specialist, or Certified Professional Coder
