At KETCH, our Caregiver career opportunities are in our group home settings and responsibilities could include - providing supports, teaching, transporting, caregiving, personal care and hygiene assistance, training, educating, mentoring, coaching, community outings, and shopping. Requirements for a Non-CNA Caregiver:
• High school diploma or accredited GED
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and dependable transportation to and from work
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of your total body weight, whichever is less
• Work experience or knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is beneficial, but not required
• CNA, CMA, HHA, Caregiver or Direct Support experience is beneficial, but not required
• Able to attend a two week, weekday, day time orientation
