A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 4 : 1 patient ratio on neuro PCU unit
• May float to other med surg areas within the floor (ortho / neuro) or hospital at 5 : 1 or 6 : 1 ratios
• Must have PCU level experience
• Required skills : IV medication drips, ACLS certification, cardiac monitoring
• NIH certification required by start date if not already obtained
• Preferred skills : Experience with trachs
• Work with GE hardwired monitors in 4 rooms
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
• Work in 8-bed neuro focused PCU unit
