Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a few years of accounting experience looking to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. This position is 100% onsite in Bridgeport, CT and the salary is 50-55k

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant :

  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations
  • Handle ad hoc projects and provide additional support as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant on various accounting tasks

    • Preferred Qualifications of the Junior Accountant :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable with data entry
  • Basic Excel skills and a willingness to expand technical knowledge
  • Eager to learn and develop within a professional accounting setting
