About The Position

Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist

License : BLS, ARRT or RCIS

Certifications : ACLS preferred

Must-Have : Cath lab experience and experience with diagnostics, interventional procedures, femoral and radial approaches, IFR, and FFR.

Description :

Oshkosh is a Level III Trauma Center.

It has a Level III NICU and is a Primary Stroke Center.

There are a total of 72 beds available.

The cath lab includes 2 rooms : 1 EP / Cath room and 1 Cath Lab.

The minimum required experience is 2 years.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The patient types typically seen include diagnostics and interventional cases.

Common procedures involve femoral and radial approaches, IFR, FFR, and the use of balloon pumps.

The average number of cases per day is approximately 4.

Required skills include balloon pump and temporary pacer experience.

This facility operates a 24 / 7, 365 STEMI program.

Travelers are expected to work well within a team environment.

Great communication skills are essential.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is important.

Willingness to teach and educate others is required.

Support within the department includes a receptionist and respiratory therapy.

Technology in use includes an EMR system and various medical equipment.

Floating is limited to rooms in the department and the pre-op area.

Scrub color is provided.
