Position Summary : Join our dynamic team as a Senior Certification Engineer, responsible for collaborating with internal program teams, installers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies such as FAA and EASA to lead both large and small-scale certification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement comprehensive certification programs.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of CFR and CS 21, 23, and 25 regulations.
  • Work independently with FAA / EASA designees on developing certification basis and plans.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies for approvals and project updates.
  • Serve as a liaison with airlines, suppliers, and certification bodies to ensure prompt completion of projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate certification records.
  • Create and manage tools for tracking deliverables and compliance findings, ensuring timely completion.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks through proactive Risk Management reviews.
  • Technical coordination of testing processes to support final certification milestones.
  • Contribute to the standardization of certification procedures.
  • Engage with industry working groups for regulatory updates and rule-making.
  • Adhere to company internal processes and protocols.
  • Mentor and train new engineers in compliance findings and procedures.
  • Assist in scoping and quoting for new business opportunities and forecasting capacity needs.
  • Review and approve TSO / ETSO compliance documentation.

Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in aircraft interior products; or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in aircraft interior certification, especially in TSO / ETSO product testing.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of maintaining schedules across multiple suppliers and projects.
  • Expertise in risk management and proactive problem-solving related to certification and testing.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a detail-oriented approach, urgency, and self-motivation.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Foster strong relationships with both domestic and international regulatory compliance offices.
  • Stay informed on industry guidance and develop innovative compliance strategies as needed.
  • Technical leadership experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CATIA V4 or V5 and MS Office products is required.
  • Experience with SAP and matrix parts lists with high variant diversity is a plus.
