Certified Nursing Assistant

Mental Health Team Member

This position requires a thorough understanding of facility's treatment program and philosophy, admission process, and criteria, working knowledge of various aspects of alcoholism, drug abuse, and dual diagnosis. This individual is a member of the mental health team providing professional level nursing care to patients under minimal supervision and consultation. This is a complex position, which directs and guides activities on the unit and assignments of ancillary personnel assigned to unit and shift.

Qualifications :

• High school graduate or equivalent and completed Certified Nursing Assistant's Certification.
• Knowledge / experience working with chemically dependent patients preferred.
• CPR / CPI (provided by facility)
• NC Driver's License with Acceptable driving record
• Must be 21 years of age based on company policy
• Knowledge of 12-Step programs.

Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse / dually diagnosed population
