Computer Engineer (I-III)

JOB PURPOSE

The Computer Engineer will operate, maintain and upgrade, all test beds and PITCO facilities. The contractor shall perform system installation validation testing, repairs, modifications and checkout prior to integration into the fleet to ensure quality and operational availability that meets system readiness objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Test the Equipment / system.
• Repair the equipment / system.
• Identify and procure testing material and equipment.
• Develop documentation as deficiencies warrant.
• Examine / Comply with schedules for equipment / system software loading, installation,
• material delivery, and ship / shore availability.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.
• Ensure necessary administration tasks are completed; direct others as necessary.
• May serve as a Shipcheck Lead and assumes additional technical and leadership responsibilities as needed to solve hardware / software issues
• May be tasked as a Travel Team Lead to assist in providing technical support to fleet organizations
• Offer solutions to issues and problems
• Other Duties as assigned.
