Minimum Requirements :

• For Medical Laboratory Technician :
• Associate's degree in medical technology or a related field.
• MLT certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
• Graduation from an approved MLT program and certification or registry eligibility.
• Clinical training in MLT.
• Up to 1 year of clinical experience.
• For Medical Technologist :
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field.
• MT certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
• Clinical training in MT.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Job Overview :

This position involves performing a broad range of laboratory tests, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and communicating findings to physicians and other medical professionals. The role encompasses several critical areas within the laboratory, including Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology / Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis.

Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, utilizing the laboratory computer system effectively, and complying with established policies and procedures. Although you will work under the supervision of a general supervisor, you will be expected to work independently in areas such as specimen processing, test execution, and result documentation.
