Enterprise Sales Engineer - West Coast

Together, they provide the largest pure-play Managed Detection and Response (MDR) portfolio, endpoint, network, email, and cloud security that interoperate through the Sophos Central platform.

Role Summary

The Enterprise Sales Engineer is a highly skilled pre-sales engineering role that provides deep technical expertise to sales teams globally. Sales Engineers cover the full Sophos portfolio – MDR, network security groups, endpoint security, cloud workloads, and advisory services – supporting field sales in the assigned territories.

What You Will Do

• Provide deep subject matter expertise in the assigned technology discipline and work closely with the sales team to win technical and strategic accounts
• Assume technical ownership of all opportunities for prospective and existing enterprise accounts
• Support sales enablement to increase collective expertise and act as a conduit to product groups for customer feedback into the product roadmap
• Externally evangelize Sophos by conducting trainings, engaging on social media, and speaking at Sophos events or industry groups
• Develop strong relationships with key buyers and influencers in customers and leverage these during the sales process
• Expand Sophos solutions and services within existing customer bases through education of key contacts and assessment of customer security needs

What You Will Bring

In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $119,000 to $198,100, with a target sales commission component and comprehensive benefits.
