Special Ed Teacher - Longmont, Colorado

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to students with mild to moderate needs in a dynamic school environment. This onsite role is based in Denver, CO, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through personalized small group instruction within a supportive learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to small groups of 58 students, addressing their individual educational goals.
• Support students with mild to moderate special education needs, including occasional involvement in an Affective Needs program.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education endorsement (DORA certification/license not accepted).
• Experience working with students requiring special education services.
• Strong ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs.
• Commitment to onsite work during school hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
