These positions will be located at one of our strategic business hubs : Renton, WA; Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Ridley Park, PA; North Charleston, SC; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX. / ppALDP is a finance leadership development program designed to give participants exposure across all Boeing business units, an unmatched leadership experience, and opportunities for expanded career growth. As part of the rotation, youll evaluate complex business issues, obtain ongoing training and development (including an annual in person conference), executive mentorship, and exposure to top leadership. As a rotational program your time will range from 2-3 years before rotating depending on business needs and your success in the program. Post-rotation, the expectation is to take on a business-critical role across one of our reported businesses or corporate functions. / ppOur ideal candidate will possess : / pulliInterpersonal communication and presentation skills / liliStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and project management skills / liliAbility to work in a dynamic, ambiguous environment / li / ulpPosition Responsibilities : / pulliPlanning and executing various financial audits and advisory engagements for Boeing businesses and functions using the Agile project management methodology / liliDeveloping work papers that adequately support audit findings and work performed / liliEvaluating highly complex processes, risks, and internal controls, including summarizing conclusions and findings independently / liliDocumenting key observations and recommendations, and presenting those findings to Senior Audit Leadership and executive level stakeholders / liliPerforming and overseeing internal control testing and documentation / liliReviewing work papers and conducting closing meetings under limited oversight / liliAssisting Audit Management by conducting risk assessments and developing audit programs and test procedures / liliParticipating in special projects, internal consulting work, and improvement workshops on an as-needed basis / liliAttending seminars / training courses for professional development / liliLeading teams in execution of assurance and advisory engagements / liliCoaching, developing and providing feedback to less senior staff / li / ulpThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. / ppBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) : / pulliBachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a Business-related field / lili5+ years of experience in financial audit with a public accounting firm registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), internal audit experience with a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrant and / or a related finance or accounting field / lili5+ years of experience testing internal controls / lili5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint / lili3+ years of experience planning and scoping financial audits, including identifying testing attributes, techniques, and sampling methods / liliExperience interfacing with and presenting to senior and / or executive leadership / liliAbility to travel up to 10-25% of the time / li / ulpPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) : / pulliExperience leading audit engagements and teams / liliExperience in external audit coupled with industry related experience highly advantageous / liliCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation / liliOther certifications / degrees such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Master of Business Administration (MBA) / liliActive U.S. Government clearance / li / ulpDrug Free Workplace : Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. / ppPay Benefits : At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
