Group Exercise Instructor

JOB SUMMARY

Instruct a Group-X class, following the class description. Class will consist of warm-up, conditioning phase, and cool-down phase. Group-X classes are inclusive of the Group-X classes listed below

• All Land Fitness Classes
• All Water Fitness Classes
• Hydrorider Classes
• Martial Arts Classes
• Land Spinning Classes

Job Components

• Show up at least 10 minutes prior to class
• Instruction of specific class based on the guidelines of the specific types of classes
• Begin and end class on time
• Recruit members to participate in your classes
• Support and communicate to your group-x program including the coordinator and team
• Obtain and maintain professional certifications
• Insure signatures on Sign-in Sheets as proof of participation
• Accurately record class participation numbers and submit to area designated by the Coordinator
• Ensure that any used equipment is picked up, put away and stereo equipment turned off
• Identify the behaviors that are critical to the success of this group-x class, and then lead by example.
• Be an advocate for the company at ALL times.
• Display at all times a professional and enthusiastic attitude.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• One or more years teaching experience.
• Certified by relevant industry organizations specific to the group-x class teaching.
• Current CPR/First-Aid, and AED certifications on file.
• Certified in field of Specialty within your Group-X classes (Yoga, Pilates, Pre-Natal)
