About The Position

Must-Have :

PICC line management and experience with starting IVs are required.

Experience with taking care of trach and laryngectomy patients preferred but must be willing to learn.

Ability to float as needed within the facility.

Willingness to work every other weekend.

Description :

Position involves providing care in a medical-surgical setting.

The daily patient ratio may vary, with a maximum of 1 : 7 if needed.

Duties include management of PICC lines and IVs, as well as care for surgical drains.

Responsibilities also encompass tracheostomy care and wound care management.

Nurses will perform dressing changes, drain removals, and suctioning of tracheostomy patients.

Candidates should have experience in blood product administration and continuous bladder irrigation.

Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Cerner, is preferred.

Nurses will be involved in the care of patients across various age groups, including adults and geriatrics.

Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with candidates expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
